Meet Our Leadership

The Bible teaches that churches are to be led and cared for by qualified pastors. You can read about what qualifies a man to become a pastor in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Our pastors are Alex Kloosterman, Rylan Auger, and Ben Inglis. They exercise spiritual oversight and provide pastoral care to our congregation.

The Bible teaches that pastors are to be assisted and complemented by qualified deacons. You can read about what qualifies a man to become a deacon in 1 Timothy 3:8–13. Our deacon is Jason Ufkes. He helps free up the pastors to devote themselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.

Jason is married to Sally and is the father of Alice and Charlie. They live in the north end of Peterborough. He has been a member of the Gathering since the beginning and has proven himself a faithful servant of Christ.

Katie is married to Justin and is the mother of Finn, Levi, and Mae. They live in the west end of Peterborough. She has been leading us in muscial worship for years. Her love for Christ and the church and the use of her gifts has been a great blessing to the body.
